Michelle Gage, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Shoreline Wellness Center since December 2016. Michelle uses creative and strength-based models to encourage clients' motivation for change they are seeking in their life. She has supported clients in their journey of wellness and self-care (mind, body, and spirit). Michelle and her therapy dog, Mackey, work closely with people in times of need related to trauma, grief, and other difficult times one might experience.
Michelle has had extensive training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, and EMDR. Michelle has held many roles in different settings such as urban locations such as NYC and Boston area.
At Shoreline Wellness Center, Michelle provides supports in several areas such as; therapy with adults and children, therapy groups, oversight of the Mindfulness drop-in program, Coordinator of the Child Parent Psychotherapy program, co-supervisor of the Selective Mutism team, and supervision for the intern program at Shoreline Wellness Behavioral Health Clinic.
