Laura Furey, BA
Laura is a clinical intern and a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student at Southern Connecticut State University. She has a background in health/ life coaching and has worked for a number of years with clients struggling with stress, chronic illness/pain, and/or anxiety. She is also fluent in Spanish. She is excited to be at Shoreline.
Ashley Lamparelli, BS
Ashley is currently enrolled at Fordham University to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut. She is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their mental and physical needs through health and wellness. Ashley's past experience has allowed her to work with children as well as adults who are suffering from substance abuse or other mental health issues. Ashley believes that everyone is capable of greatness and with the proper support we will achieve success.
Leslie Higgins, BS
Leslie is a graduate student in the Southern Connecticut State University Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She comes from a holistic background and is passionate in working with others from a person-centered and strengths based approach. Leslie is excited to be part of the Shoreline Community.
Alice Falco, BS, MT-BC
Alice is currently enrolled at Adelphi University as a Master of Social Work student. She is a music therapist who has worked with demographics such as the neonates, pediatrics, adults, and older adults in medical settings. Additionally, she provided music therapy services to children and adults on an in-patient psychiatric unit at a hospital, which sparked her interest in the social work profession. Alice hopes to incorporate her knowledge of music therapy and her current education in social work to provide effective and caring services for those at Shoreline.
Lindsay Rhys, BA
Lindsay is an Master of Social Work student at Quinnipiac University. Lindsay plans to pursue her LCSW in the state of Connecticut after graduation in May 2021. She has experience working with children and adolescents, and a passion to create the necessary tools and ideas to help others achieve their fullest potential. Lindsay is excited for the opportunity to learn at Shoreline.
