Family Therapy Services

Shoreline Wellness Center provides comprehensive family therapy and counseling services. Often, families undergo tragedy or are affected by crime, grief, loss or a major transition such as divorce, mental illness, major conflict, codependency, or other relationship challenges. Families sometimes need new ways to interact and cope within the unit, and therapy is a safe, productive environment to discover those new tools.

Our family counselors work to help every member of the family have greater insight into the family experience and their individual experiences and use those to better communicate with other family members. The end goal is to promote mutual understanding, build stronger relationships, and give systems to develop a supportive, nurturing, encouraging, healing environment. Family therapy sessions work with the family as a whole rather than just one member of the family.
